About Aya Rune Beings

Aya Rune Beings began in 2017, made by hand and written in Russian. They sat in a box for years until I found them again.

Working with AI, the set was rebuilt: the imagery redrawn, and every meaning rewritten in English — kept close to the original readings rather than replaced by them.

The runes are the Elder Futhark: twenty-four staves in three aetts of eight. Eight of them have no reversed form; they read the same whichever way they fall.

Readings here are for reflection. A rune is a good mirror and a poor fortune teller.
